Beading table... April 21, 2008 C. Clemons (Gulf Coast of Florida) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
Love this item. I love that it is wood tone and not white! My husband purchased one at an earlier date and did not have the woodtone option. His stays visible much of the time (as a laptop table) and it is ugly... mine is beautiful!
The item came quickly and was packaged well. The price was right!
Christmas Generosity January 3, 2010 Nat Roadrunner (Phoenix, AZ USA) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I ordered this wood grain Table Mate II as a Christmas gift too late to arrive before Christmas according to the shipping estimate. But it arrived 12/24! In the rush to provide great customer service, the folks at Get Organized accidentally sent me two boxes bound together. My first thought was it took 2 boxes of parts to make one table. After opening one box and following the simple, no-tools-needed, assembly instructions, my wife had her table and was very pleased with using it in our living room for her laptop computer. The many adjustments for height and angle of the top make it very versatile. The floor-hugging, 1-inch diameter legs allow it to easily slide under all our chairs--even a recliner whose padded foot rest comes all the way to the floor. We just tilt the recliner back slightly, slide the table into position, and let the recliner come back to a full upright position with the foot rest padding absorbing the 1-inch thickness of the legs. Exiting a chair is easy because with a one-handed, easy push, the table glides easily over the carpet out of the way--easier than if it had wheels. What happened to the 2nd table in the 2nd box? The generous folks at Get Organized emailed me back, "You can keep the item as a gift from us at Get Organized and use it or give it to a friend."
Works great April 12, 2009 H. Devore (Huntington Beach, CA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I use this for my laptop at the couch mostly. It's sturdy enough with my computer on it. I'll set drinks on it too, trust it more than other tables like this. The top is not wood, as I has thought, reading the description quickly. It is plastic. From far away it may look like wood, not close up. But it blends in better than white or black. It has adjustable legs for height, and adjustable tilt on the top. But I rarely use those. Good product for the money.
Table Mate Tray Table January 25, 2009 M. Braunn (Chardon, Ohio United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Gave it as a gift. Receiver loves it. Works great. Only uses it for eating, not for computer, which probably would warp it due to weight.
good value for the price June 26, 2008 Deal Seeker 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This table was at the low end of the pricing compared to other similiar tables but turned out to be a really good deal.
The legs are well constructed and easy to operate and offer a wide range of height adjustment so it is easy to find the right height so you are comfortable sitting with it. The top is also adjustable and is well balanced over the legs so the table holds pretty steady. The table also folds flat so it is easy to store out of the way.
Since I haven't had this product for very long I don't know how long it will ultimately hold up to regular usage but over all I am very pleased with this purchase.
